I consider the kitchen a laboratory. It is my Shangri La, my favorite spot in the house. Monday through Friday, that 10X10 tiled room is my refuge from the "routine". No matter how humdrum my workday may have been, the kitchen is a place where I am able to try something new. If you've ever heard me talk about exploring, you know that that feeling of newness is something I crave. I rarely follow recipes (as that wouldn't be something new now would it?) but instead use them as a loose guide. I experiment. I add things in, eye things out and try to use a few dishes as possible. That being said, I have a hard time recreating meals and remembering what I've made. So here I begin the documentation of my edible experiments. ;)
